Why do I need to use 的 in the sentence 昨天的天气非常好 and not in 今天天气不好?

if "le" is used after a verb, the sentence is past tense. for example, 昨天我去了电影院 zuo2tian1 wo3 qu4 le dian4ying3yuan4. (Yesterday, i went to the cinema).

if "le" is used at the end of a sentence, it can show the change of the situation. for example, 下雨了 xia4 yu3 le. It's raining. (it indicate the change of the weather, before it wasn't raining, but now it starts to rain. )

上网 means "surf the Internet".

你今天晚上一直在上网吗？ Here "上网” is a verb.

网上 means "online", 在+Verb，means the action is continuing.

你今天晚上一直在网上吗？This sentence is also correct. But here 在 is a prep. 在网上 means " be online".

2) 适合 is a verb. means "suit".

    合适 is an adj. means "suitable".

太小了 means "too small"

太小的 is an adjective, you can put a noun. after it. For example, 太小的衣服(tai4 xiao3 de yi1fu)-too small clothes.

没有 is the past tense of 不

所以他没有来上班 is past tense. "That's why he didn't come for work."

所以他不来上班  means "That's why he doesn't come for work". He didn't come for work and will possibly not come for work in the following period.
