August 27, 2007 at 06:57 PM posted in General DiscussionMy son's mandarin teacher in the US is looking for pop music karaoke to use in her class this year. It would be best if it had pinyin as well as characters. Does anyone know where to obtain this? She's in the US, but I could send it from Hong Kong if it is not available in the US. Who are today's popular artists that teenagers would enjoy listening to and learning from? I see that YouTube has some chinese karaoke. Are there other websites that have chinese karoke with pinyin? Thanks for your help.

Most song lyrics are usually in characters only and can usually be found using www.baidu.com
You can use this program to convert characters to pinyin pretty accurately:
