Abstract Measure Words

August 05, 2007 at 05:36 PM posted in General DiscussionAs one's vocabulary gets larger and larger, does anyone seem to fumble with the correct measure words? Sometimes even listening to them in a sentence can totally throw you off and confuse me. Just wondering if anyone has a list (outside this site) of measure words paired with their more commonly used nouns. Especially the more abstract ones. Thanks in advance.

well, I remember bugaloo from a TV show when I was a kid. Maybe it is boogaloo..... and I was thinking yi 条 boogaloo.... tell you what, mate, you pick. I just finished running, so i've got runner's delirium.

hehe, yeah I thought of 只。 I guess if we're sticking with bugaloo we could stick with 只 there, or go with 条 for things like 蜻蜓
