It looks to me like the kid isn't even born yet, so I guess the series is a prequel to the movie. I'm not sure how far back in time they've actually gone, or who the parents of the kid will be...

Wait... you watched the whole first episode and the kid isn't even there? How does that work?

I wish it was wushu... no, these are senseless acts of violence, though the guy who took the chopsticks to the head totally deserved it. No sign of the kid yet.

Chopsticks?! We're not talking wirework, are we, dude? Like... the kid doesn't open up a can of wushu on somebody and use the bow of his violin to give them a smackdown, does he?!

Ack.. just finished watching the first episode of the series, and it's beyond bad. I think I counted 5 scenes containing physical violence - one of which involved chopsticks.
If anybody's reading this, stick with the movie.

High praise indeed! Thank you, sir! My little home office isn't much, but it gets the job done. :-D

You're a natural podcaster Frank. Excellent production, sounds like it's recorded in a studio.

They turned that into a TV show?! But... but... how? Aw, man. This is the kind of thing that makes me cringe. Why can't people leave well enough alone?!
Although that Highlander TV series was better than all of the movies, except that first one... hmm....

No, you're The Man, Frank. I just read your last blog post.
I'm downloading the 24 episode series of 和你在一起, which you may have come across sometime during Day 2. From the picture, it looks like a couple of the same actors are in it. I'll let you know how it stacks up to the movie in about 6 weeks time.

moloch, you're The Man! (And I mean that in a gender non-specific kind of way.)
Thanks for getting the word out there!
