May 30, 2009, 01:04 AM次 is used almost interchangeably with 遍, like 再看一次/再看一遍(see one more time). Strictly (and dictionarily) speaking, "再～一遍" carries a connotation of "repeat something from beginning to end", but we foreign learners of Mandarin don't need to care about such a trivial thing, hehe.
