Monkey Magic

I read the book but living in the US I missed all these shows. Wild stuff. Nobody here knows who the monkey is. (except some of us Chinese students)

In the worlds before Monkey, primal chaos reigned. Heaven sought order, but the phoenix can fly only when it's feathers are grown.

The first episode was my favorite. Even though it ends with Monkey trapped under the mountain for 10,000 years (maybe wrong there!), it was just such a complete story, with so many great lines. When the Buddha appears to Monkey in female form he says: I thought you were a fella; you are in me!

He undoubetdly was the "funkiest monkey that ever popped".

That´s obviously from a series of movies...I´ve only seen a movie where he already has the stick... :-)
