IE scripting problem

Just noticed that the vocabulary and TOC expand/collapse functionality in my online book didn't work under IE7. It works fine under Firefox and Safari though.

This is all done through JavaScript, but my code is obviously not robust enough. Any help appreciated, here's the script file

problem should be fixed now.

actually, the problem only occurs on the homepage, and only in some cases. I'll take a closer look when I find time...
