Skritter

I have been having a problem since the site update that the elements on the Skritter tool are stacked vertically, rather than the former configuration where the current word and writing pad were side-by-side with the word list immediately below.

The old configuration was much more compact. Is this a known issue and is there something that can be done to fix it? The current configuration really makes Skritter less useful, particularly on a tablet.

FYI, I have this problem both on my laptop and tablet. I've tried it in the following browsers with the same effect:

Win 7: IE, Firefox, Chrome

Win 8.1: IE, Firefox
