How to change the Internal mail setting

There is an internal mail system within CPOD. Clicking on someone's avatar will take you to their profile page where you can click on the "send message" icon. If the function is turned on, you can send a message to any user which will be forwarded to their email on file without divulging that email address. The default setting for this service results in the message: "Sorry, this user has chosen to receive no emails." Apparently, the switch by which someone can activate this service has disappeared. How does one activate internal mail these days?

Just tried to PM you via reply to an old message. Did you get it?  The problem you cite has been around for a while I think . . .I even got the same from customer service . . . sorry, not accepting e-mails.  But at least he was able to fix it for his own account.  Maybe you can start a CPod users group on some other social media site ?  :)

I did not receive either of the two replies or the original PM you sent.

I got your message and have sent two replies. So thus far the bugs noted on the community threads recently are:

1. User to user e-mail function not operational

2. Incorrect time stamp on comments and ability to edit comment gone.

3. Some comments posted multiple (2 to 4) times in succession. (I have seen this happen to multiple users.

4. Very slow page loads (I have been experiencing this especially today).

Anything else I left off? There is the report about the tasks function being broken, but it seems that relates to the e-mail issue.

Mine is on. I was trying to teach another user how to turn it on so he could receive Task homework feedback from teachers, and can no longer find the "on-off button". Nor could he. Although, I did not get your message for some reason. I sent you one - lets see. Maybe the whole system went down now.
