Self Introduction
I am a 27-year old Canadian man looking to improve my Mandarin. I can teach English and French.I am a trained translator (English and French) who also speaks Catalan, Spanish, German, and a bit of Italian and Mandarin.I studied Translation and Political Science. I am working at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and I am looking for a Mandarin teacher/tutor (preferably a trained teacher or linguist, but not necessarily) to help me improve my Mandarin level. I would be available during weeknights after 7 or during weekends.I come from Montreal and I can teach English or French. Hope for your partner: Intermediate English or French.I would prefer a trained teacher or linguist.

i didnt mean to ask you teaching m French friend, he is just an example....you can learn chinese with a native chinese speaker,and you teach her your mother language in return,like making a new chinese friend,she can teach you chinese,and offer you life tips to live in china,and you guys are learning face to face,not online......

thanks anyway, but I am just an intermediate level Chinese student, so not qualified to teach Chinese to your French Canadian friend.

aha,thank you for the corrections. i just listed this information to gain the trust of foreigers here that i am not a cheat :p..i will post more information of my chinese friend afterwards, hey where do you live? are you interested in language exchange?

yes, here many foreigners want to learn Chinese, but your friend above was also wanting to learn Chinese, so I thought he was looking for someone wanting to learn French or English as an exchange.

thank you for your kind suggestion. I myself am Chinese,i am helping my friends looking for their language partners and many of my Chinese friends ask me to set them up with their language partners,i thought here might have many foreigners who want to learn Chinese,and i am just here to try my luck. thank you anyway!

June 09, 2013 at 06:24 AMI think there are only a few Chinese teachers on this site, and in the main, I think they live in China. I'm thinking you may have much better luck on EnglishPod which has a large number of Chinese folk there. Good luck mate :)
