Did anyone there in Shanghai see the demonstration against the maglev? What was it like?  Was it reported on in the news?

Thanks for letting us know. I know I haven't been commenting on your 88 group site, but I have been reading them. Your vocabulary and formatting is great. Thanks for all the effort.

I'm planning to publish the BBC article on the subject on my 88*news*group, busy vocab-ing it. FYI, Maglev is 磁悬浮 (cíxuánfú) or 磁悬浮列车 (cíxuánfú lièchē n. levitating train in full, measure word 列 (liè)

OK, I read the reuters article. First I heard of it. A little surprising that so many reacted this way.
