Dialogue Exercises and Safari

June 30, 2012 at 11:15 AM posted in General DiscussionJust out of curiosity, has anyone else had a problem with Safari and the lesson exercises? Specifically, when I do the Sentence Reordering exercise, the minute I move a sentence, all the sentences go blank and it starts to automatically add blank lines.
The other exercises work fine, though the matching exercise line doesn't draw the black bar from word to definition. However, the Reordering seems seriously broken.
I am running Safari 5.1.7 on OS X 10.7.4 (i.e. Lion). Is it just me?

OK, so it's not just me. I guess we can wait until the weekend is over and see what CPod says.

Yea! I've had the same problems, and I use Chrome. We have a trans-browser problem in our hands!
What I've noticed is that that problem only comes up mostly in the "older" lessons. I've never had that problem with the newer ones. What about others?

I haven't used the exercises for a while, but the last time I did (3-4 weeks ago) I had exactly the same problem using firefox, so it's probably not a problem at your end.

From my experience, the problem with reordering and matching not showing lines happen when the exercise page isn't fully loaded. When you wait till the page fully loads, they should work. I will confirm with the tech team on Monday.
