A question about 并于

Can someone please explain the use of the word 并于 in the sentence:

Pablo和来自阿根廷的Elsa相恋已7年有余，并于一年前在巴塞罗那结婚.

Why in this sentence is there no 了 added after 结婚?

"并" means "and", 表示更进一层的意思。

"于一年前" means "在一年前"。

这个句子里有表示过去的时间词，所以不加"了"也可以。
