Subscription cut-off

Hello, I panicked because of the announced limited time to employ the Spring Festival "Hong Bao" coupon and hurried to buy a new subscription with a discount.

I expected that, when I would pay in advance, the existing subscription would be left as-is and the new one would be "appended" to it. Especially because they are both the same kind.

My current premium subscription was to expire on 18 February 2012, but when I bought a new 12-month premium subscription, the old one ending February was cut-off and replaced by the new one, effective from today (30 January 2012). I doesn't bother me too much, there was a reasonable discount anyway, but shouldn't it be more logical to start my new subscription from 19 February, instead?
