Rough, quick translation -- a discussion of "extreme" and "extreme weather", and then clarification on usage of "frequent" and "frequency".
DL: “Extreme weather comes more and more frequently”
JP: “极端”(extreme) means..?
DL: Extreme weather means (is indicated by) either very cold or very hot weather.
JP: (So) this “极端” is “extreme”
DL: Right
JP: Ok, so you just said “more and more 频繁(frequent)” , is that right?
DL: Correct, “频繁(frequent)” means the frequency (频率) is very high, very often
JP: (So) 频繁 is “frequent”
DL: Yes
JP: Ok, so that word you just said “频率” is “frequency”

Agree mate. I knew she was referring to living things, but having only picked-up 'shen' instead of 'sheng', I convinced myself it must be 身 as in body/life.
