Vocabulary manager not working

December 26, 2011 at 02:54 AM posted in General DiscussionI have many labels, but can not show them. Also I can not apply labels to new words. This problem has happened off and on for a long time.

Thanks, JC. The problem seems to be solved. I was able to sort by labels that I had previously created, apply an existing label to new words, and export a list of words under a given label to Pleco. Vocabulary manager is a very powerful tool. Any idea why the problem arose and anything I need to do or avoid to make sure it does not happen again?

Hi,
The tech team just notified me that they have worked this out. I recommend you log out of ChinesePod and log back in, then take a look at your vocabulary list.
Best,
JC

I'm going to forward this to the tech team and ask them to take a look. This appears to be something beyond own problem-solving abilities.

Hi Podster,
I saw your email over the weekend. The vocabulary manager does have some bugs, but it generally works well. I just logged in to your account and tested was able to add a label successfully.
You mention you were having trouble applying old labels to new words, or sorting by old labels, but as far as I can tell, you don't have any old labels. Can you elaborate on this?
Thanks,
JC

Thanks, but I never said that I could not add new labels. As to "as far as I can tell, you don't have any old labels" I think if you scroll down my vocabulary list you will see many words associated with various labels. The fact that these don't show up in the "show" box is precisely the problem.
