Lingoes mouseover not working

Hi all. I just noticed that my lingoes mouse-over translation tool has stopped working on CPOD. Other websites are fine. I've updated my installed lingoes to the IE9-compatible version. For some reason, it's just not working on CPOD. Anyone else having problems with this? Is it due to a change at CPOD's end? Or more likely a problem with my laptop?

thanks for any help

Hi Chris,

We haven't changed anything here that would have such a result. Any characters that appear as text should be readable by any pop-up dictionary.

This is more likely a Lingoes compatability issue. I recommend you check it out with them.

By the way, Chris, please let us know if you find anything. There is a lot of third-party software for learning Chinese, and our users have tried them all. Ideally, we'd be able to ensure they all work with our site.

thanks JC. Interestingly, all still works fine with my work laptop. I suspect it's an issue with my home laptop, where I recently upgraded to the latest version of IE. Will look at it again later.

Hi Chris,

I don't use lingoes for Chinese as I use mandarin popup for that. But I do use lingoes for the other Praxis Pods. So I just tried it on CPod here to check it out for you. Wasn't sure if I'd ever downloaded a Chinese dictionary for the lingoes, but , checking it out, it does give example sentences using Jukuu. I'm using firefox though.
