APL :-) that programming language had a cryptic set of operators - more like Greek than Chinese actually.

Hash tables I can understand but Chinese not so much!
A while ago I was wondering if there were any programming languages that had a syntax where instead of using Latin alphabet would instead use Characters

递归 (dìguī) recursive, because PHP stands for PHP 超文本预处理器, a 递归定义 (dìngyì) definition.
I'm no s/w engineer either, just enjoy programming...
