Also, what I like is the little study book available in Hong Kong/ and must be China - which has the little squares in them. That is what I use.

when they're practicing characters when they're young they use that paper with little squares so you get each part in the right place, in terms of writing tools, I'm not too sure... search on google for a template with squares and just print them out

I had no problem reading your question/text.
Your hand writing looks pretty nicer than native speakers.
Believe it or not, I've seen quite a few native speakers scribble away at notes that even I couldn't make out.

But it's not that i wrote this very fast you know!
I am just learning to write characters so that's why it looks so nice.
I have another question if you would like to answer it :When Chinese/or foreign students learn to write Chinese, do they write on special paper with special pens or do they just use normal ball pens?
