I am a newbie to Chinesepod.
I have tried to study Chinese before, but now with Jenny/John/Ken find it much easier to understand. I am looking forward to learning Chinese and meeting new Chinesepod friends, and hopefully I day go to China.

你好, Fancy Nancy! =)
I've found that learning with this group is great as well. I haven't actually tried it out yet--I've just been looking at the PDF transcripts and reading through the lessons--but it seems really great.
I've learned Chinese before, but I'm using this program (the transcripts) to refresh my vocab--mostly written, haha.
Anyway, we could be English-speaking Chinese-learning penpals if you'd like! =)

AnJieLi - Angelica
Nice to meet you, yes, that would be great to be English-Speaking, Chinese-learning pen pals.
I have to go through the PDF transcripts! I have been enjoying listening to the lessons with Jenny and Ken and feel like I know them. They make the lessons easy to understand for a newbie.

Haha, most definitely.
I haven't listened to one yet! But I should. Which lesson do you suggest I listen to?
You can call me either Angelica or AnJieLi (安潔利 --the li actually has something above it, but I can't find the right one ): )
Do you have a Chinese name yet? Is it safe to assume your English name is Nancy?

I do not have a Chinese name yet but would be interested in knowing what it is. lol some how I got the nickname fancynancy, yes, my English name is Nancy.
I should just stick with the Newbie lessons but enjoy listening to the lessons even though its advanced for me.

This is a great site to get a Chinese name.
So how many/which lessons have you gotten the chance to go through yet? We should totally practice together! =)
