8月26日上午，中国西藏日喀则市吉隆县发生特大泥石流灾害。
Bā yuè èrshíliù rì shàngwǔ, Zhōngguó Xīzàng Rìkāzé shì Jílóng xiàn fāshēng tèdà níshíliú zāihài.
On the morning of 26 August a catastrophic debris flow struck Gyirong County in Shigatse, Tibet.
经初步判定，灾害由尼泊尔境内一处冰川在海拔约5200米处断裂、发生冰岩崩所致。
Jīng chūbù pàndìng, zāihài yóu Níbó'ěr jìngnèi yí chù bīngchuān zài hǎibá yuē wǔqiān èrbǎi mǐ chù duànliè, fāshēng bīngyánbēng suǒzhì.
A preliminary assessment attributes the disaster to a glacier inside Nepal fracturing at around 5,200 metres and setting off an ice-and-rock avalanche.

Bīngyán tǐ yán hédào gāowèi gāosù qīngxiè, jiāng Jílóng kǒu'àn èrshíqī chù jiànzhùwù yí wéi píngdì.
The ice-and-rock mass poured down the river channel from high up at great speed, razing 27 buildings at the Gyirong border crossing to the ground.
据西藏自治区通报，截至8月29日，灾害已造成16人遇难、546人失联，并排查出来自23个国家的261名失联外籍人员。
Jù Xīzàng Zìzhìqū tōngbào, jiézhì bā yuè èrshíjiǔ rì, zāihài yǐ zàochéng shíliù rén yùnàn, wǔbǎi sìshíliù rén shīlián, bìng páichá chū láizì èrshísān gè guójiā de èrbǎi liùshíyī míng shīlián wàijí rényuán.
According to a bulletin from the Tibet Autonomous Region, as of 29 August the disaster had left 16 dead and 546 out of contact, with a further screening identifying 261 missing foreign nationals from 23 countries.
