It's time once again for our annual review and reflection on new resolutions for the new year. First let's take a look at our resolutions from last year, to see if everyone managed to achieve them this past year.
我来念念文民去年的新年愿望，他写”我今年要看二十本书、去十个地方旅行、认识五个新朋友”，做到了吗？
wǒ lái niàn niàn wénmín qùnián de xīnnián yuànwàng ，tā xiě ”wǒ jīnnián yào kàn èrshí běn shū 、qù shí gè dìfang lǚxíng 、rènshi wǔ gè xīn péngyou ”，zuò dào le ma ？
I'll read Wenmin's New Year's resolutions from last year. He wrote "I want to read twenty books this year, travel to ten places and meet five new friends". Did you do that?
我想想，我去年几乎没空看书，只顾着打手游，因为换了工作没什么钱和时间，只去了香港玩了三天，至于新朋友，你们懂的，如果我有新朋友的话，现在也不会跟你们鬼混了。
wǒ xiǎngxiang ，wǒ qùnián jīhū méikòng kànshū ，zhǐgù zhe dǎ shǒuyóu ，yīnwèi huàn le gōngzuò méi shénme qián hé shíjiān ，zhī qù le Xiānggǎng wán le sān tiān ，zhìyú xīn péngyou ，nǐmen dǒng de ，rúguǒ wǒ yǒu xīn péngyou dehuà ，xiànzài yě bù huì gēn nǐmen guǐhùn le 。
Let me think. I had almost no time for reading last year and mostly just busied myself with mobile phone games. As I switched jobs, I didn't have that much money or time, so I just went to Hong Kong on holiday for three days. As to new friends, you must understand, if I had new friends, I wouldn't still be slumming it with you guys.
哈哈！你去年的新希望全部落空！我们来看看建成去年的愿望，他写的是”2016年我要好好健身，吃得更健康，还有随时保持一颗温柔的心”。
hāhā ！nǐ qùnián de xīn xīwàng quánbù làokōng ！wǒmen lái kàn kan jiànchéng qùnián de yuànwàng ，tā xiě de shì ”2016 nián wǒ yào hǎohāo jiànshēn ，chī de gèng jiànkāng ，háiyǒu suíshí bǎochí yī kē wēnróu de xīn ”。
Ha ha! All the resolutions you made last year came to nothing! Let's take a look at Jiancheng's New Year's resolutions. He wrote "This year I want to build my body and eat better and to continue to be a warm-hearted person".
