When would you pronounce “one” as “yao”? Like: 2019, “er ling yao jiu nian”? Thanks!

All these mistakes are not poetic at all though! Even if the translation is not perfect, if you can understand the meaning the translation is "acceptable". These pics are way off track!

All this reminded me of the song by David Bowie "China Girl", in that case I am pretty sure he meant Chinese but used "China" just as a poetic license.

I was just thinking about that, would "Chinese Police" work as well?

Anyway, great lesson I love it! It makes me reflect on how important it is to have correct translations in every field of knowledge!

Since English is not my native tongue I don't understand what's wrong with "China Police", could you tell me what would be the correct way to say it? Thanks.
