As a new subscriber to ChinesePod, I was especially helped by this conversation about the differences between Shanghi and Beijing. I am visiting BJ soon, so, the insight about how to get arouond, what weather to expect and how hard it is to walk places will be of benefit.
I wish I could say i will make use of the conversation about courtesy when entertained in someone's home, but, my trip will not likely include visiting a native at home. Unless it is the home of my daughter! but, then, she also is American. Happily, she has already come to view BJ as her home.
