Anyone ever ate turkey while in china before? Is it the same as the oven roasted goodness from the states? I'm in 北京 now, anyone know any places to buy some turkey?
I like a dry tough turkey, I like how it clogs the throat and the only way to keep from choking is to drink some ice-cold soda to clear the esophagus like draino down the sink, ahhh just hits the spot, hehe

I want to try this 意思意思 phrase next time, but how would I use it if i were to interject
"Hey, just get him an Englishpod subscription, he will just be happy the gift is from you"
"嘿，送他一个Englishpod subscription，意思意思就行了“
还是
”送他一个Englishpod subscription吧，反正意思意思就行了“

November 17, 2011 at 11:43 AMI always called them "sleepys“ or "sleepies". Wipe out my sleepys and pour out the left-over mountain dew can onto the bed and blame the spill on wiping out my sleepys... my friend was none the wiser haha.
I've used the "totally realistic dream where I was using the toilet" excuse more than I care to count.

I assume 潘 = Pasden and 吉 = John as far as sounding alike.
I will be getting a license soon and I will need a Chinese name. Would you recommend picking a name that sounds like my English name?
