December 18, 2008 at 4:56 PMThis lesson, like the Death By Ninja episode truly shows off David's talents! 小品演得很好,歌曲唱得好听,音响效果剪辑得挺专业!不瞒你说大卫简直是个万能的人啊!

December 18, 2008 at 4:41 PMBy the way, perhaps at one point Monterey Park was "小台北", but now most the the population of 蒙市的华人 are all 来自大陆的.

Chinesepod!

December 18, 2008 at 12:45 AMMonterey Park is the epicenter of the Chinese community of Los Angeles, but now it's fast becoming the entire San Gabriel Valley 圣盖博谷 including, Monterey Park, 蒙市 Alhambra, 阿市 San Gabriel 圣盖博市, Rosemead, Temple City 天普市, Arcadia 亚市, Rowland Heights 罗兰岗 and Hacienda Heights 哈仙达岗 predominantly, and it's continuing to grow!
I love the San Gabriel Valley, it really is the closest thing to living in China, and it's way better than the dying Chinatown that's run by the Vietnamese.
So anyone in Los Angeles who wants to have great Chinese cuisine and stimulating conversation in Mandarin, drop on by!
For the record:
Goulniky's 新闻小组 is the very best group on Chinesepod bar none! The level of dedication and energy he puts into it truly amazes me!
ALL PODDIES:
By the way, anyone looking to reduce their western accent is welcome to join my accent reduction group. Although it's totally unfinished now, I will be posting on a more regular basis and finishing it off, with detailed explanations on how to properly pronounce the different groups of sounds in Mandarin, and eventually helpful hints on how to sound more Chinese through perfecting other aspects, like rhythm. If anyone is wondering why the groups avatar is an old gentleman with a beard, that's my hero Thomas Francis Wade, the creator the the famous Wade Giles Chinese Romanization System, the man led an amazing life!

November 27, 2008 at 7:24 AMYou need to download and install the Chinese language packs (if you're using an older operating system like Windows ME or 98), or else enable Chinese language support from your "Regional Settings" in Windows.
One you have Chinese lanaguage support enabled, you will be able to read the Chinese texts and post in Chinese yourself.

At the risk of sounding callous, and I most certainly AM going to sound callous, Marco's work on this video was far short of "excellent". This was some of the laziest, editing I've ever seen. I hope Marco didn't run the camera because the camerawork was quite underwhelming.
In fact, the entire production quality felt quite underwhelming, characterized by bad lighting, uninspired visuals, and lack of a coherent style.
The good point of the video was the titles and graphics, but there wasn't much beyond that of note.
Marco was credited as the "Director", my best advice to you is, 换一个导演吧。
Sorry for my callous, ranting remarks.
很抱歉
