December 3, 2018 at 2:56 PMsorry to be critical but one more- during the vocabulary review the person reading the Chinese is clicking her mouse and it is picked up very loudly. Either position the mouse away from the microphone or use the keyboard.
Other wise the format and the energy in this lesson was great but unfortunately poor audio kills all of that

December 3, 2018 at 2:51 PMGuys you really have to fix the annoying buzz on the audio. Sounds like a poor quality mic issue

December 2, 2018 at 5:23 PMOne other suggestion, do not use a bluescreen with an artificial background overlaid, it almost always looks really bad. If you're not in an office setting with a great natural background that's fine, but it's better to use the bluescreen without the background added in afterwards.
Also, the sound quality is really bad - there's a constant buzz. People are pretty forgiving to poor video but perfect sound is a must. Sounds like a mic issue rather than a setting issue.

What is the difference if I want to say "我快到了“ and "我摇到了?”

June 26, 2015 at 6:38 PMway too much debate for an elementary lesson! I'd be happy if someone understood that I left my keys inside the house let alone spot regional differences in my use of the word gas ;)

June 23, 2015 at 1:45 PMYeah, some people have gas stoves (it's definitely a high end feature!) but I still people would say 'stove' rather than gas because gas generally means petrol. Worried plenty about leaving the stove on, never the gas :-)

June 23, 2015 at 1:13 PMI almost needed an EnglishPod to help me translate this podcast into American English! It took me a few minutes to realize that 'gas' was basically leaving the stove on. And I still have no idea what a 'hob' is.

March 27, 2019 at 5:12 AMThe lesson is quite good but the sound quality is TERRIBLE. Really makes it hard to listen to.
