So you use yīxià when it is just a verb before it, and yīdiǎn in other cases?

I've always heard eat soup... anyways, I was wondering what does the particle "le" do for the sentence?? I haven't been able to figure it out.

How do you tell the difference between "je" and "zhe"? I'm just wondering.....unless there isn't "je" and I am horribly mistaken...

light487, You might try learning one or two characters a day, both writing and reading it so that after you know enough to speak fluently, then you can read many characters also.

sballa, I have never been to China myself, but you can probably expect to receive more respect from the students than in American schools.
