July 1, 2020 at 3:48 AMI had the impression about 先走了that there is an implication that by going "first" you are communicating that you are leaving "without" the other person ( I am going and leaving you here) or that 先吃了 implies beginning to eat before--while the other person waits (without)--as opposed to an implication that the other person may chose to go do with
一起... Does that make any sense?

February 11, 2021 at 6:36 AMAs I was practicing the writing and reading of this dialog, I realized what a great lesson this is!!! Yes, the dialog is extremely elementary, but for reading and writing, this lesson has 问，间，们， 门 all in one exercise. Was this on purpose--all those many years ago?
