Hello all,
If you were to ask the taxi driver to go fast and get you there in a hurry, would they charge you more?
谢谢!

March 22, 2010 at 9:25 PMHello Lily and all other ChinesePod people! It was a pleasure to get some additional details about Lily in this podcast. Those 10 minute sessions go by so fast! Lily, thanks for your patience, energy and fun spirit! For me at 6:15 a.m., it's not that easy to speak Mandarin Chinese. Additionally, when my kids are singing and talking to me in the background, that does not help the situation either. When they are loud and trying to get my attention, you always laugh and say that they are so cute then get right back into the lesson... You are an amazing teacher and I appreciate your skill and focused- attention. That said, I look forward to our year of classes and life-long friendship! 明天见
Posted on: Getting to Know CPod Teacher Helen (and exciting content news)!
March 14, 2010 at 5:47 AMI started as a newbie and I have been doing the Executive course since late Dec 09'. So far, I love it! I really enjoy listening to the teachers as each interview has been informative and insightful. I like the advice to students from Helen about not trying to learn too much too fast. And as students, our job is to master each lesson and the key patterns and structures. What about having Lily next? Peace.

June 22, 2010 at 2:48 AMThis lesson is solid and super-functional. I like when you guys get a little "Grammary/Grammatical" during the lessons ;)
During my daily Skype lessons, I am always asking 我的 老师, "第几声? and 再说一遍吗?"
By the way, John, was your 对 at the end of the lesson in the 4th tone?
Live well!
