June 23, 2010 at 10:29 AMCan someone throw up some more vocab. I have learned a bunch, but don't know how to write it. Things like, header, corner kick, off sides, etc. There is so much vocab that is specific to futball and sports in general. And, yes, 冰球 is only for ice hockey. I live in Beijing and we play here. I don't know what field hockey or roller hockey is called, any one? And, BTW--Go 美国!!!

September 9, 2009 at 1:50 AMAs murdocke23 noted, the standard is one space after a period. The mis-information that one should use two spaces after a period is a nightmare for editors. :-)
Another note on periods. Periods (and other punctuation marks) always go inside of quotation marks. Example: Bob said, "Go to the store." or Jane said, "What are you doing?"

The Buddha's hand is a citrus, you are correct. It is called 佛手 in Chinese medicine and is used primarily for digestive problems. It is one of my favorites.

January 13, 2011 at 11:08 AM你好ChinesePod队,
