1. (真+ adj.）(zhēn + adj.)
她真漂亮！
(Tā zhēn piàoliang!)
She's really beautiful!
2. (真+的+adv.+adj.) (zhēn + de + adv. + adj.)
她真的很漂亮！
(Tā zhēn de hěn piàoliang!)
She's really very beautiful!
3. "Is it real?", use as follows:
这件事是真的。
(Zhè jiàn shì shì zhēn de.)
This issue is real.
这个钻石是真的吗？
(Zhège zuànshí shì zhēn de ma?)
Is this diamond real?
4. before a verb, you must use “真+的”
我真的要走了。
(Wǒ zhēn de yào zǒu le.)
I really have to go.
5. when modifying a noun, generally we leave out the “的” (de), as in:
真人 (zhēnrén) real person
真皮 (zhēnpí) real leather
