Thanks, it's really misleading because I was not interested in courses, so did not look there.

For new customers the dashboard is not self-explanatory at all, and the help section does not offer more insight...

Still no answer from support team ...

You write here -- http://bit.ly/sEvYcs

How do I try out the service before purchasing?

"We offer around 30 free lessons for you to try out before making the purchase. You will enjoy Premium access to a number of lessons at each level. "

Where can I find these 30 lessons????

Thanks everybody.

But if there is no way to specify my level then you should remove the level from the profile page.

It gives a wrong impression. I am not a Newbie.

2 or 3 years ago ChinesePod's web application was easier to navigate. The whole dashboard stuff is IMHO way too complicated and not very well designed from a learner's perspective.

People who try out the system and who have no subscription cannot find out how everything here works, you have to buy a pig in a poke or forget ChinesePod.

I am not interested in courses. I still didn't find out where to listen to ONE QingWen lesson and where to play with all the Premium features. They are blocked everywhere.

ChinesePod will not acquire many new customers if potential custumers have no possibility to try out everything. Seems I have order it and later use your money back guarantee...

:-(((

Thanks, RJ, for your reply.

I found "All lessons" and the functions to manage lessons. Did not expect it there...

But the cogwheel does not offer a possibility to change my level. I see only Subscription Settings, Subscribed Lessons, Dashboard Tab Display Order.

I also don't see a possibility to manage lessons, e.g. to delete lessons. After one hour, trying this and that, my impression is that the dashboard and settings are an ergonomic desaster that puts me off from subscribing to this site. I am not computer-illiterate at all (I work in the software industry), but the ChinesePod site is way too difficult to navigate and to use. It seems that the main purpose is not to help the (potential) user but to protect the content from the non-subscribers. ;-)

But maybe I am blind.

As I am thinking about subscribing here: where can I evaluate a QingWen lesson?

I am not able to open any QingWen lesson to see how they look like...

This site is so difficult to manage, I am unable to change my level from Newie to Intermediate. Can anybody tell me where to change the level? My profile has no such setting.
