June 15, 2009, 11:37 AMjust my 2 cents worth;
I've not been here long but I have listened to quite a few of the DA shows and in my opinion she diffinitely has talent and great star appeal, so its natural that people will follow the "star" just as in movies, some people will go to a movie because of a certain "movie star" being in it, regardless of the movie, and Amber seems to have many adoring fans so nothing wrong with checking out her new site from time to time if you need to get your Amber fix, but whats great is that we can still listen to DA here, and really its nobodys business why she is gone, except her. Best of luck to you Amber!!!
Cpod is a great and wonderful learning tool probably the best site available, I think alot of people will agree DA will remain popular for along time to come, those are hard shoes to fill for anyone.. the Cpod cast/crew are each talented in their own rights and thats part of what makes this such a great place to learn chinese, an equal balance that plays well off each other & they too have a following, well deserved I'm sure.
Thanks Cpod for being one of the Greatest sites for learning Chinese

June 04, 2009, 10:55 AMI just want to express my happiness over finding this site to learn chinese, I really love all the great features available, the dialogue and the voc lists are so useful in learning, I know it will take a while to get used to hearing the different tones but I am looking forward to the challenge, I'd like to find some other good options for looking up words and finding the meanings, if anyone has good recommendation on books I can purchase or where to buy them, book that focuses on grammer & tones would be helpful I have checked out the glossary and grammar section here but I am not always on my computer, maybe also a chinese dictionary I would be so grateful. Thanks in advance

June 03, 2009, 07:41 PMWow, what a great way to teach the language with poetry, but it seems that will be ending, but I will be sure to check out the previous Poems to see what I was missing for not finding this site earlier, I am really looking forward to learning as much as I can about the chinese culture and I realize that Chinese Pod has a wealth of knowledge.

June 03, 2009, 07:29 PMMy interest in learning Chinese language is more of personal growth and I'm so happy to have found this fantastic place,I already feel that I need to visit China in the near future- which gives me more reasons to learn the language, I've always had an interest in learning about other cultures and Chinese is such a colorful and exciting culture with many interesting flavors. I know learning it will be a great challenge, but one that I'll enjoy, and it looks like I will be in great company with all the other wonderful people learning Chinese on this site. Thank you to Chinese Pod for being so inspiring!
