Loved the lesson and the barbecue! Not that you guys would be interested, but i'd like to share this:

I came from the Philippines as well and we have the best tasting barbecue (chicken thighs/wings/feet/heart/gizzard). Have a big plaza in Cebu (Philippines) just for barbecue, and people (foreign and locals) flock every night to enjoy barbecue and hanging rice ("puso4" in our dialect).

I was able to visit china before and got to try real chinese cuisine!!!, but not the barbecue. I hear about 烧腊 (shāo là) says a special chinese barbecue style?
