Hey - great idea to have a challenge at the end of the lesson.  Would love to see that on all your lessons!  Even if it's just dictation to see if we can hear tone differences - anything to put the vocab to use!

Also, Ellen - how do you say

I like the seat in the middle back row?  :)

I was in China for the 1st time this summer.  I was amazed at how much trouble I had reading signs.  All of the characters are so artistic, I completely gave up on it & just looked at what was in the windows! 

这个课很有意思。 马上就，我应该写信。 谢谢。

How would I say, "This was a very timely lesson" or "It came just in time."

Is 该死 pretty mild so that you might hear it in normal circumstances i.e. around the office, in a group of women, etc?

I'm looking for something you can say in relatively polite company that expresses frustration, but won't offend.

So, for those of us who are tech-ignorant - this app is just for iPhones, right?  It can't be downloaded onto an MP3 player, like a Zune right?

In one of your next videos, could you include the "correct" use of chopsticks?  I think Ken and Jenny were discussing this in one of their recent lessons.

Hello Amber -

I'm so sorry to see you go.  I found ChinesePod more recently than a lot of the posters here.  Being a person of a certain age - it took me a bit to warm to your style.  But not long - I began to look forward to your podcasts as much or more than the lessons - always keeping a pencil in hand to note down your grammar points & cultural insights.  Then, I began going back through the old Qing Wens & Dear Ambers - mining the gold. Now I say thank you for all your work and help.

You are a real talent - I hope you find a new path that will let you use those talents and continue to grow.  Good luck.

大家好.  I'm trying to find "single" (as in unmarried) on my pleco software - I've got the 1st character.  单?  Is it 是?

By the way, I'm new to the boards.  Just want to take the time to say how much ChinesePod is helping me.  I'll add my view to those who say how effective your work is - I'm learning Chinese by myself, so your podcasts are like manna to me.
