妳好, auntie68. 對不起for the long reply. I really like your S.T. stories. HE really reminds me of how I was like when I was young, minus the Mandarin. :) Too bad I didn't start learning 漢語 at an early age.

HI changye, I've heard that some 注音 letters were made from modifying some ひらがな and カタカナ. You should use the Chinese(Taiwan) IME. It enables you to input Chinese in 注音. It also helps you memorize your tones too. :)

@姐姐:Ok,ok..=P...妳真的愛王力宏.哈哈. I have a question for mainlanders, is 潘瑋柏 famous in the Mainland? And can someone tell me the song that he was dancing to in this CF(commercial)?

漢語拼音 is widely used in the Mainland, even in HK and Macau(香港與澳門) . However for Taiwan and for some Chinese communities worldwide (especially here in the Philippines), we use the BoPoMoFo system or 主因符號. I type in 繁體字 because my 注音符號(zhu4yin1 fu2hao4)IME only supports Trad. Characters and only some Simplified Characters, and because of that I ask the people who use 簡體字 to pls. forgive me.:) 注音 is a phonetic alphabet; ㄅ=b ㄆ=p ㄇ=m ㄈ=f ㄉ=d ㄊ=t ㄋ=n(initial) ㄌ=L ㄍ=g ㄎ=k ㄏ=h ㄐ=j ㄑ=q ㄒ=x ㄔ=ch(i) ㄕ=sh(i) ㄖ=r(i) ㄗ=z(i) ㄘ=c(i) ㄙ=s(i) ㄧ=i/yi ㄨ=wu/u ㄩ=yu/u:(U with umlaut)/yo(yong/xiong)...like the u in the pinyin: qu/xu/ju ㄚ=a ㄛ= o ㄜ=e, as in the de5 in的 ㄝ=e, as in the jie4 in 世界. ㄞ=ai ㄟ=ei ㄠ=ao ㄡ=ou ㄢ=an ㄣ=en/n(final) ㄤ=ang ㄥ=eng/ng ㄦ=er

alicechenxinyi1985: Hi ate.:) Ouch, 王偉 got busted. How do you say "got busted" in 漢語?

bluejay: That sentence roughly translates to: I'll hit later. excuter: 不謝。:) bigkev: there are some books in China which contains nothing but pinyin...no 漢字. You should learn the 漢字 of each pinyin because all 拼音 have homonyms...which could really confuse you if you can't figure out the character...
