July 4, 2012 at 2:34 PMHi Jean-Daniel, being on the Intermediate level you are a step ahead of me. I am still in Elementary class and follow a weekly speaking course (Chinese pod) on Skype at present. This is very helpful and I hope for some serious progress. We live in Switzerland and it is rather difficult to meet Chinese people to practice conversation. My only chance would be to meet Chinese tourists in Lucerne during their short watch-buying stops.

June 29, 2011 at 1:52 PMI am retired since 10 years and am very happy to have a lot of time for my hobbies. Taiji is on the program since many years and since 5 years I am learing chinese. This keeps my mind a body active and fit. I am now 75 and wonder whether there are any other chinese poddies in my age group. Don't worry be happy!

November 25, 2009 at 3:42 PMI have been a newbie since 2 years and regret your decision very much. I have been looking forward every week to get the new lesson. At the same time I am working on the old ones with your guided plan which is very helpful. From Jenny's comment I learn that you are working on alternative forms of newbie contents and am very interested to seeing the first edition next month.

September 11, 2009 at 10:16 AMSince many years, Bali is my favourite holiday destination. Bali not offers only vulcanos and beaches. I always estimated the highly developed culture the Balinese people have. Temple ceremonies, Gamelan-music, Dances (Legong, Ketjak), Ramayama are excellent examples of their tradition. I look forward to be back in Bali next year.
