I use Google Pinyin, but it doesn't seem to work with QQ. I'm not sure if it is supposed to work, or if the problem is with my operating system. I have a Mac, but installed QQ for Windows using Parallel. I tried installing QQ to my Mac system, but it only let me install a very rudimentary version of QQ.

I am just starting Volume III of Pimsleur, so I better keep my creeper detector running.

I forgot to mention (in reference to @Chris), I am also American.

I have a general question....are there any pinyin input tools that can be used with QQ?  I currently enter messages in English, and then hit translate.  Chrome's pinyin input tool doesn't seem to work with QQ.

Rachel, I was also creeped out. Oddly enough, it wouldn't feel as creepy if I heard the same line in a ChinesePod dialogue.

Sorry to be late to this thread!  I'm still confused about the difference between "to call for take out (pick up)" or "to call for delivery".  I often order take-out from a Sichuan restaurant, which does not offer delivery.  In other words, I place the order over the phone and then, go to the restuarant myself to pick it up.

So, can I still use 叫外买 ?  I hope so, because I used this in my last order!  :-)

Great lesson!

Very helpful lesson!  I was one of the people who requested this particular lesson.  Thanks, I can't wait to try it out.
