March 13, 2008 at 2:18 PMVery good French Auntie, I would like to speak chinese like that.....just one very tiny mistake (just vocabulary usage) : "il tombe à ...." is not used but we'd rather say : il revient à une seule personne.. de régler."...or very very "Francais littéraire" : il incombe à.... or very simple : c'est à une seule personne de payer. But I am very impressed. Thank you for your explanation..that's clear now. Where you're from? Evelyne

March 8, 2008 at 10:54 PMWhy is 也 after the verb? I understand that it is to put the stress on the words that follow, but I've learnt that the ADVERBS were ALWAYS put BEFORE A VERB. I think that should have I writen a sentence built like this, the teacher should have thought I 've made a mistake. There must be exceptions according to a slight distinguo of meaning.... 谢谢 艾菲林 (evelyne)

January 27, 2008 at 10:10 PMIn France we say : ouistiti (it's a small monkey) or the english word :cheese. When I've been in China I saw every body make the V of victory or peace... why are they all doing that?
