yeah..happened to me too. Btw, Ken, found a new way to listen.. using the web thru our Wii on the tv.. works great but a bit hard to sign in because the link to sign in is far right and gets half cut off. Everything else seems to work perfectly though and appears just fine. Cool huh? :-)

Along the same lines.. when I was little, I (as a westerner) was told I needed to finish all the food on my plate because there were starving children in China (who I guess really wanted my leftover broccoli). My Chinese husband was told he needed to finish all his rice because his future wife would have a pock mark for every grain he didn't eat. (No wonder I had acne as a teenager. Lazy future husband!)

Neat!! Sometimes it's hard to parse the grammar and usage from the lessons, so this is going to be really helpful. Thanks for thinking of us, as always..

TaiPan: The version I learned says one is missing an ear and the other is missing a tail too.. but I didn't learn it in school, I learned it from my husband's "auntie". I also know a saying about a boy with a big head, who doesn't need an umbrella when it rains. I'd love to learn more little "poems" like that..
