As for the ideal woman/man, Talent (才) or Wealth (财) shouldn't be used as the "major selection criterias". I have so many female friends who are very well educated and in their late thirties still dying to look for their Prince Charming (白马王子). In the meantime, my other female friends who had "secured" their "lifetime meal teckets" (长期饭票) are living very unhappily "on their own" in their short lifted marriages. There are no winner in this game.
In my own openion, the inner beauty (内在美) and the harmonic relationship (和谐的关系) are the two key elements in a life long love relationship. Skyli98 had made a lot of good points as well ;-)

May 22, 2008 at 6:05 AMThe only memory I have about Taipei is oyster omelet (蚵仔煎) and Squid Thick Soup (鱿鱼羹) which I used to have them almost daily in Silin night market (士林夜市) when I was in Taiwan. For those of you who like to make the oyster omelet yourself, here is the recipe: First, sweet potato meal paste is fried in a frying pan, then clean oysters, an egg, leek, bean sprouts and lettuce are added. Sauce is added and it is best when eaten warm. The taste is sweet, salty and hot. It is so delicious!

May 15, 2008 at 11:30 PMPearl Tea was originally invented in Taiwan in 1983 and has became one of the most famous branches of the Bubble Tea. It was later introduced to Chinese and US market by a couple of Taiwanese owned cafes. The "pearls" in the tea are made of fenyuan （粉圆）and the big straw used we call it xiguan (吸管). Fenyuan is made of sweet potato powder and has two types - Pearl 珍珠 (regular sized) and Nipple 波霸 (bigger sized). Pearl tea comes with regular straw while Boba milk tea normally comes with thicker straw. For those of you interested in making Pearl Tea at home, please message me and I will forward a couple of original recipes to you. In the meantime, enjoy your Pearl Tea wherever you are in the world ;-)
