I don't understand the phrase di kai tou, at 13:00 Jiaojie says "如果你到上海来，那么yi3di4kai1tou2的就是动车组。”
And Jenny responds "对。在中国坐火车的di4kai1tou2的就是动车组。。。”
What's di kai tou? Thanks...

June 13, 2008 at 8:55 AM我四年前在上海当过沙沙老师。当时上海的沙沙水平不怎么样。这年一月分终于有机会回上海，去Silver Moon和Zapata's，我的天，进步特别大，让我眼花缭乱，尤其是男孩子跳得又有自信，又行云流水。四年前很明显，女孩子跳沙沙舞比男孩子舒服多了。为什么呢？我个人觉得中国文化的“脸”的负担让男孩非常紧张。女孩子好像没有这个问题。现在完全不一样。。。有很多男孩子跳得很棒。中国人。。。碰到一个新的活动，只要给他们几年，世界其他人没法比。。。
说道这个话题， 你们应该看一个北京的古巴方式的沙沙老师的花絮，挺有意思。。。

July 22, 2008 at 7:01 PMI'm also a little unclear how to translate 一提起身价，动辄上亿 (in the first line of the dialogue).
Is it something like "Some people are making more than 100 million!" (colloquial translation)
or (more formally), "On the subject of annual salaries, it's easy to find people making more than 100 million."
???
I'd love a little more explanation of the term "身价", which dictionaries translate as "social status" or "individual price" but which seems to mean something a little different in the new Chinese economy...
