February 10, 2011 at 8:32 AMAt 4m 15s:
John: 注射就是"inject",是吗?
Dilu: 那它除了打针有可能是 diào zhēn 之类的.
I assume the zhēn = 针, but I'm having a tough time figuring out what the diào (?) character is just before it.

February 2, 2011 at 8:22 PMIs the entire phrase 逐地探讨? As in "to investigate (the words) one-by-one"?
[btw I love having dictionary software that searches by pinyin. How did one learn Chinese with only paper dictionaries and no Internet?]
I've been trying my hand at some of the Upper Intermediate lessons, it's a bit hit-and-miss for me (although, I'm glad to report that it's been mostly hit more than miss). It surprised me how much I got out of this lesson.

November 8, 2010 at 11:51 AMRegarding:
撞 / zhuàng
The translation in this lesson has to "crash into and kill".
Was this translation referring to 撞死 instead, or does 撞 actually incorporate the "kill" part as well? I would have thought 撞到 meant to bump into something and hit it, but not necessarily to the degree of death.

June 3, 2010 at 9:37 AMI have a question about 咱们: when would you tend to use 咱们 instead 我们?I remember someone telling me that they weren't entirely interchangeable.

May 30, 2010 at 3:57 AMGreat lesson.
Btw the match-up exercises have a typo: "in dissary" should be "in disarray".

April 30, 2010 at 8:12 AMI don't know if it was a must see, perhaps a particular fondness for blue-green bits of goo is all that came out of it.
