I've noticed that when Jenny pronounces a word that contains two consecutive first tones e.g. 火花塞 the second first tone is pronounced at a lower pitch than the first first tone. Just wondering about this. Is this a common thing? Regional?

Something I have noticed with speakers of Mandarin is that with words that are two first tones such as 瞎说, both characters are pronounced with a level tone but the first character will be spoken with a higher pitch than the second - wonder if this is just a sort of language habit?
