The dialogue link for all lessons has now gone - is this a permanent change?

I notice in the lesson you use Arabic numerals in the dialogue. Is there any particular reason for this ie is this normal practice in China?

The transcript still doesn't match the dialogue

Bill, Yes being immersed in the language is important, but having an explanation of how a piece of dialogue works using language that is more advanced than the original sentence is very frustrating. Sometimes I just want some clarity. I find it bizarre that a relatively easy dialogue should be discussed using Chinese that is more advanced than the dialogue itself, using language that has never been taught in Chinese pod before. If I want to be immersed in the language I can easily find Chinese language radio and films on the internet. But the function of a lesson is to teach.

I'd be interested to know the rationale for having so many newbie lessons. Clearly anyone who has studied all 183 lessons (as I have) couldn't be considered a newbie. I suspect anyone serious about studying Chinese would have studied them all. After about 100 lessons I felt confident enough to move onto the elementary lessons. I realise its important to keep things up to date, but personally (for selfish reasons) I would prefer more elementary lessons and perhaps something more advanced like the intermediate lessons but with more English discussion. The transition from elementary to intermediate is very big due to the spoken Chinese content.
