I have a couple questions about some of the words in the expansion sentences.

what does 一下 mean?

In the sentence, 硬币 what does 个 mean?

In the sentence, 北京火车多少钱? what is 的 used for?

One more! :-) What are the meanings for 了 and 吧?

Thank you!

Is "nimen" the same as "ni"? Also, could you say "women you de" instead of "you de"? The same thing goes for the question. (qing wen, ni you caidan ma?)

Thanks!

Why the "de" is used in "you de" and "hao de" was not clearly explained. Could someone give an explanation for that?

Thanks!

How come in the sentence, "ni xihuan shenme" you don't add the "ma" at the end of the sentence to make it a question?

Also, in the expansion there is a sentence (中国吗). Why is there a "guo" in the middle?

Thanks!

Hi! I'm new to chinesepod.com and I don't know much at all about the tones.  Is there a newbie lesson about tones that is easy to understand and gives you a full explanation that you would recommend?
