July 20, 2012, 08:43 PM大家好,
I was wondering if anyone could explain the sentence composition of:
“那儿没有我想象的好玩。”
It wasn't as much fun as I had imagined it would be....
Would anyone be willing to break this sentence structure down for me?
Thanks.

Thank you very much.

July 06, 2012, 01:58 PMI agree with bodawei... As of this morning (6 July 2012) the matching section still does not show "buy" as a meaning for 买。

June 29, 2012, 06:11 PMGreetings... In the expansion section the sentence: 在西安玩得怎么样? is translated (Did you have a good time in Xi'an?). Is that correct?

June 27, 2012, 12:32 PMThanks so much for the new(er) grammar sections on these lessons. It had been one of the main differences between the formal Chinese classes I have taken and Cpod.
Keep up the good work.

July 18, 2010, 04:56 AM大家好。我有一个问题。在 expansion 你们说 ”你吃辣吗?“ = "Can you eat spicy food?" I would think it means do you eat spicy food b/c of the lack of 会 (to have the ability). If you can imply the “会” what other situations can you use similar construction?
Thanks,
Matt
