大家好,

   I was wondering if anyone could explain the sentence composition of:  

“那儿没有我想象的好玩。”

It wasn't as much fun as I had imagined it would be....

Would anyone be willing to break this sentence structure down for me?

In the grammar section one example sentence is:  我们在唱歌，你要不要加入？Would it be possible to use “参加” in place of "加入“?

I agree with bodawei...  As of this morning (6 July 2012) the matching section still does not show "buy" as a meaning for 买。

Greetings...  In the expansion section the sentence:  在西安玩得怎么样？ is translated (Did you have a good time in Xi'an?).  Is that correct?

Thanks so much for the new(er) grammar sections on these lessons.  It had been one of the main differences between the formal Chinese classes I have taken and Cpod.

大家好。我有一个问题。在 expansion 你们说 ”你吃辣吗？“ ＝ "Can you eat spicy food?"  I would think it means do you eat spicy food b/c of the lack of 会 (to have the ability).  If you can imply the “会” what other situations can you use similar construction?
