“我就是偶尔发发牢骚”是"I am occasionally prone to whining, grumbling"的意思。他们翻译错了，这个句子不在。我觉得‘不一定’，‘不肯定’，都可以说。

I look forward to this one too - I can imagine that he runs through all the famous tourist spots (probably some a thousand km from Yunnan) - leaves Shangri-la after breakfast, gets to Guilin by lunchtime, a quick sprint along the Great Wall in the afternoon - that kind of thing. :)

Not that Yunnan doesn't have enough scenic spots but film makers (producers?) never seem to want to leave anything to chance.

We have it Australia as well - something set in Sydney and next minute they are viewing Ayers Rock or dodging crocodiles.

Thanks a lot - that I would never have guessed. I will try that at our favourite outlets.

I'm wondering why we haven't seen it around; normally the DVDs appear within weeks (days?) of their opening in the cinemas in the West.

Much appreciated, thanks Baba. A simple little tool. I was wondering about the tick and cross - it is nothing more than an optional self-assessment of how well you think you know the word. Well that is a lot less onerous than the dictation.

In Chinese I'm never sure when I've 'learnt' something - I have an ongoing problem with the idea of finishing lessons.
