ha, love the word bespoke. Reminds me of London...like bespoke Savile Row tailors. Yes, it looks like, as you say, it has more of an emphasis on cakes as is reflected in the name 沁园饼屋, so more of a "cake house" than a bakery with an emphasis on bread [reminds me more of one of our cake shops eg like Shingle Inn], so not surprising that 面包 doesn't feature in the name. Looks like their motto is even based around cakes...饼道...the tao of cake..haha I like it...reminds me of the tao of pooh....betcha if they've got a honey cake pooh will rock up and be in heaven, hehe.
btw, amazing how different the 沁 looks in their sign:

...heck, I hope signs aren't generally going to be that hard to read, but I guess advertisers do morph the characters quite a lot. I wonder how many would have got that sign? Maybe it's time to revive your signs group mate :)
looks like the 沁园 chain was taken over by Europeans a couple of years ago:

October 16, 2012 at 4:45 AM"I'm talking about the reading function that seems to work in any app"
...thanks mate. Great tip....just turned it on [it is set to off by default]. Ha, like the different English accents too. You asked about the usefulness...I guess there's some use listening and trying to understand. But Siri is more fun because I can talk to Siri in Chinese and see if it understands my request and then see if I can understand the response...my new best mate, hehe ;) First up tried 今天的天气怎么样?which Siri then wrote out my question and gave the appropriate answer...very exciting, hehe.

October 15, 2012 at 10:39 PM"Maybe they use voice to text software?"
...possibly, certainly one of many options but I suspect would require them to be a bit more tech savvy setting it up [unless someone set it up for them] than the handwriting input
